The Littlest Thing makes small songs and parent-friendly routine tools for everyday family moments. The Littlest Thing is a project of Designed Calm LLC. This website is meant to be simple, calm, and privacy-conscious.

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Children should not send us their names, photos, videos, addresses, or other personal information.

Information we may receive

If a grown-up contacts us by email, we may receive the information included in that message, such as an email address and the contents of the message. We use that information only to respond, manage the request, or keep reasonable business records.

Routine signals from grown-ups

Some song pages invite a grown-up to tell us whether a phrase returned during a real routine. The form asks only for the song and one choice: “yes,” “sort of,” or “not yet.” It does not ask for a name, email address, free-text story, or child information. Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical information needed to receive and protect the submission.

Email updates

The Littlest Thing offers an optional email signup for grown-ups who want to hear when a new song is ready or receive printable materials we have offered. The form asks you only for your email address, which we use only for those updates and materials.

We do not ask for or want your name, your child’s name, your location, or any other personal detail through this form. The signup is for grown-ups. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information through it from anyone under 13.

Netlify processes and securely stores form submissions on our behalf. As part of receiving and protecting a submission, Netlify may also process ordinary technical information such as an IP address and browser information. We do not sell or rent your email address, share it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles.

Every email update will include instructions for unsubscribing. You can unsubscribe at any time, or write to hello@thelittlestthing.com and ask us to remove your address.

Website data

We do not currently use website analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may process basic technical logs needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the site.

Retention and deletion

We keep a signup email address while it remains subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we will remove it from our active mailing records and delete the corresponding Netlify form submission within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

We keep grown-up contact messages and routine signals only as long as reasonably needed to understand whether the songs are useful, respond to a request, maintain ordinary business records, or meet legal requirements. A grown-up may ask us to delete a prior message by contacting us.

Third-party platforms

Our songs may also appear on platforms such as YouTube or Pinterest. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and settings. Please review their policies when using those services.
